Mikel Azcárate member of the “responsible communication” awards jury
The Director of Strategic Development and New Business of SEINSA Corporation, Mikel Azcárate Echániz, is a member of the jury of the VI edition of the annual OCARE Awards (Observatory of Responsible Communication). Companies and corporations from all sectors and from public and private spheres can now present their communication campaigns and initiatives for social purposes, to compete with the sea shell, a symbol of excellence in transformative communication. The selection process will consist of different phases in which a professional jury will deliberate to evaluate the different categories. Campaigns can be presented in seven different categories, depending on the type of audience they are targeting:
- Comprehensive CSR communication campaign (absolute category).
- CSR communication campaign aimed at the internal public.
- CSR communication campaign aimed at civil society.
- Social content CSR communication campaign.
- Environmental content CSR communication campaign.
- Labor content CSR communication campaign.
- CSR communication campaign on Social Networks.
OCARE will award three second prizes: for the best creativity in a CSR communication campaign, for the best CSR video and for the best system of listening and dialogue with stakeholders.
The Observatory has an advisory committee made up of businessmen and professional directors of communication and CSR, who monitor and reward the most creative, transformative and brilliant. The committee includes Javier López-Belmonte, vice president and financial director of ROVI; Mercedes Pescador, founder of Medialuna and LoQueNoExiste; Amparo Lobato, Corporate Affairs of the Kellogg Company; Marcos González, president of Corresponsables; Javier Benavente, president of Alares; Antonio Fuertes, CSR expert and consultant; Mikel Azcárate, director of strategic development and new business at SEINSA Corporation; Marta Martín, Testa Home communication director; José Carlos Oya, expert in digital transformation and CEO of Invernet and Margarita Jerez, expert in communication media.
In 2020 the OCARE awards were celebrated by streaming and delivered by young Communication students from CEU San Pablo University, center co-founder with OCARE Medialuna.
The awards of the VI edition are estimated to be held in person at a very special gala. The awards ceremony will also be organized and starred by students of public relations, events and communication, in order to give visibility to the talent of the future leaders of corporate communication in our country. OCARE also has the mission of instructing and stimulating the practice and learning of young communication students in their different disciplines.
