How to repair a steering boot using our specific or universal repair kit.
Specific steering boot
- Remove the ball joint
Remove the clamps - Cut the boot which need to be changed or remove it
- Assemble the boot
- Lubricate with grease
- Fit in the boot
- Attach the plastic clamps
- Assemble the ball joint
Universal steering boot
- Remove the clamps
- Cut the boot to be changed.
- Clean the steering with a piece of paper
- Set up the cone on the kneecap
- Lubricate with grease
- Pass the boot through the cone
- Fit the boot
- Lubricate with grease
- Attach the plastic clamps
- Remove the cone
